An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
Mahatma Gandhi(attributed)
Indian political and spiritual leader (1869 – 1948)

The media has been screaming itself hoarse the whole of last week that the unrest in Mumbai, the riots in the North East and the general exodus of North East Indians from various parts of the country have all been the work of the insidious  ISI of Pakistan via  rumours floated and circulated by them,  in yet another attempt at subversive terrorism. Unfortunately our foolish politicians who have organised a march to the Mantralaya this afternoon have just fallen into the trap so cleverly set up by the ISI.

If the protest at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on the 11th of this month was an exercise in futility, the march today is an exercise in stupidity. It is not going to make any point at all and will only serve in further alienating the opposition from the masses proving yet again that if the government is bad, the alternative is no better and that like crabs in the well, we are all just going to pull each other down.
