I loved this song when I first heard it and I am amazed how it plays out in real life. There are numerous instances of uptown girls who are pretty uptight in their uptown world , Daddy’s little darlings who never have to hear a NO, who are attracted to  that backstreet guy. Alas, I wonder  for how long the smell of grease will hold more “Allure” than the fragrance of French perfume.
