Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Personally speaking

Chasing Miracles

IT IS SAD AND TRUE THAT IT IS HARD TO FIND SEVEN
“EMAIL” FRIENDS WHO BELIEVE IN GOD AND ANGELS!
Interesting to see what eventuates.
You have received this angel because you at some point in
life have been an angel. No one saw your wings but they felt your love.
Let me know what happens to you the morning
after you open this e-mail.  This is an
unusual one.  It actually gives you a time
tomorrow.  Let’s see if it works.
GUARDIAN   ANGEL
Forward this message the same day you received it.  It may sound ridiculous, but it is right on
time.  We believe that something is about
to happen.  Angels exist, only sometimes
they haven’t got wings and we call them friends; you are one of them.  Something wonderful is about to happen to you
and your friends.  Tomorrow at 9:06 AM
somebody will address you and tell you something you have been waiting to
hear.
Please try not to break this.   Send it to at least 7 of your friends!

We all believe in miracles and there is always something that we desperately want. So when I received  this email on Boxing Day I promptly sent it to seven of my friends. Sadly nothing happened at 9.06 am this morning.

Every now and then there are such emails that pop into my mail box. In the good old days they were chain letters. Some of them are harmless, some of them are fun ( like sending recipes or jokes to the first person on the list), some of them are cranky, some promise great rewards while some of them promise dire consequences if the chain is broken.

Most times I disregard these mail messages and don’t bother with clogging up my friends’ email boxes with stuff they can do without. Especially when someone is going through a trying time, facing challenges or hoping for something they desperately want, I particularly avoid sending such mails. But then why did I make an exception with this one?

Because I  feel that these friends have enriched my life and for that I am truly grateful. But I also know that if wishes were horses beggars would ride and this will be the last email I’ll be forwarding to anyone either for fear of breaking a chain or in the quest of my miracle.
