So the Universe Does Listen

So the Universe does listen after all!

After posting up my rant and rave about not being able to establish my blog on my own custom domain which I’d bought from GoDaddy, I was about to shut down the computer when I set my eye on :

This seemed to be the answer to my prayers and I immediately visited the site. And lo and behold! It worked. I’ve finally got my own blog hosted on a custom domain. However, I realised that I no longer have my old blog name which was chowmiaow. I somehow loved this name as I loved my nom-de-plume and kind of feel bad to lose it along the way. I now have to figure out how I can still keep this name without having the boring sounding sunitarajwade.com as the address of my blog. Especially since I want to host my other blogs too!

Which brings me to the wonderful experience of learning that the internet has offered me and several other people who love being on a learning curve. Over the last two days I learnt a fair bit of stuff about Twitter (which I still can’t figure) and WhatsApping thanks to the #CelebrateBlogging contest I’ve joined. This is an event set up by Blogadda and involves a unique idea – collaborative creative writing.

Blogadda has set up teams from among the bloggers who have registered for this event and have given us five characters which we have to use to make up a story. Each blogger gets to write a blog post taking the story forward rather like a game of tag. It will be interesting to see how each team spins a yarn with the same characters. So over the last two days, I’ve been in touch via Twitter and WhatsApp with the other team members who happen to be more tech savvy than me. Please do read the first chapter of our story which you will find at Ankita’s blog.

Over the next few days you will find more of my team posting on their own blogs – look out for them too!
