Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

I can’t believe it’s the last day of October. For fear of sounding like a stuck gramaphone record ( do you remember those vinyl discs that played at 33 1/3 RPM on turntables that normally occupied pride of place in a room?) , I still feel this year has gone by in a whirl a whirl that seems to gather momentum each year and spin even faster.

This year unlike the previous years, I have begun tracking my “to do list” to see how many of my new year resolutions have been fulfilled. Unfortunately there still remains a lot to be done though I seem to have made progress with many others. Looking back I realise that this is because most of my jobs to be done are dependent on others in the sense that my time is hardly my own and it is only when I get some time to myself can I do the things that I planned to do.

One of the things that I did manage this year was to get a new camera – simply because my old one was pinched during the refurbishment of the house. I felt bad that it went missing but since I was looking out for a new one, didn’t mind too much . I am now trying out its features and am pleased to share some of the pictures I captured from my balcony last week when our normal sunny skies were unusually cloudy.

My favourite towers against a grey sky

The sun peeping from behind
