Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

My Malyasian Sky

Last week I was travelling in Malaysia and would like to share a picture of the scene outside my hotel window.

Yes you guessed right! It was a view of the much photographed Petronas Towers but like all iconic buildings, the first reaction when you see it is WOW!

I even went up to the Skybridge and the Observation Deck from where the views were simply spectacular.

These remain the tallest twin towers in the world and have come to symbolise a modern Kuala Lumpur. Situated in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, it is part of a city complex that has hotels, convention centres, entertainment parks and plenty of shopping with SURIA KLCC, a mall with luxury brands and high street shopping.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in KL but plan in advance as you need to book a slot to go up to the skybridge. And within minutes you can zoom up to the 42nd floor 170 m above the ground and to the Observation Deck at 360 m to get an even more stunning 360 degree view.

My Malaysian Holiday was thanks to a Blogging competition held jointly by Blogadda and Tourism Malaysia. I was hosted with a group of journalists by Tourism Malaysia. The Hotel Renaissance in Kuala Lumpur hosted us and gave us the best views of KL’s dramatic skyline.

The changing tropical weather – bright sunshine in the morning, a cloud build up in the afternoon and light showers in the evening made sure that the same view looked different each time a sight that you could see again and again.
