Mumbai’s winter has finally left us and I put away the light sweater that was lolling around on the rocking chair these past few days. Our Winter is not cold enough to really wear a sweater, but often the slight chill in the air becomes uncomfortable when the wind is blowing so one really has no option but to keep a light cardigan handy. However, when I need to put the fan on two nights in a row, I know it’s time to keep the sweaters away.
So once again it was clean up time with washing light blankets and keeping away clothes that will be worn only a whole year later. How quickly it is that days pass by and months and years and still we seem to in the same place.
Yesterday I was struck by the wispy white clouds that seemed to reach upwards from the sea. I couldn’t help capture the sunset sky which looked magnificent over my city. There’s something about the dying sun – a gentle, golden kiss it leaves behind.

| The sun ready to go down |

| It’s strange how the same sky looks different |
 |
| Some more setting sun |
 |
| Sweep of cloud |
 |
| And on the other side of the balcony, the city appears bathed in a golden light |
