Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Personally speaking

Hints of cloud in my Mumbai Sky

The view from the back

I woke up this morning to find that I had slept through my wake-up alarm and had to give my early morning yoga a miss as I was still stiff from my long sleep of last night.

It didn’t really disturb me because I used this unexpected extra time to catch up with paperwork that somehow never seems to get done. Am I the only one in this Universe who faces this problem of chasing tasks that need to be done?

I realised that light makes all the difference in a photograph. The twin towers that I’ve focused on countless times look so different in this mid morning shot as does the photo of the bay from my balcony. The sun is just about rising in the sky and the early morning smog/mist /fog will soon give way to brilliant blue skies that last through the day.

At the Metro Cinema junction

I had to actually rush off to a meeting and wasn’t surprised to be caught at every traffic light that turned red just as it saw my car approaching, making my journey that much longer (Murphy’s Law and all that . But still being in the mood to seize the day, I took the opportunity to take a photo at every traffic light that I was waiting at and managed to get some great shots of the city beneath a scattering of clouds.

In front of the Telecom Tower

Well, for all those who’ve caught up with the never ending list of jobs to be done and those who like me are still chasing them, I wish you a happy weekend from a sweltering Mumbai that shows promise of sizzling temperatures this Saturday Sunday.

I am linking this post to Write Tribe ProBlogger Challenge  and Skywatch Friday.
