I normally don’t get a chance to walk on Marine Drive in the middle of the week but this week I was lucky and  when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it with both hands.

When you see the pictures below you can see why. There was a cool breeze blowing even though the sun was still visible. There were hardly any people on the pavement and I enjoyed the brisk walk at the end of the day in the middle of the week.

These new LED lamps have been in the news lately: apparently they don’t  illuminate much and their white light detracts from the heritage value of this iconic promenade
