No, you aren’t reading wrong, I am grateful that today is Thursday because it is the fourth/last Thursday of the month and time to count the reasons for being thankful.
- For one, I’m thankful that today is the India-Australia match because it will mean less or rather no traffic on the streets hence less noise and less pollution and possibly even more productivity!
- Earlier this week I attended a tea party ( yes they do have those) and met a woman my age who like me was a self-taught computer geek hence able to answer all my queries about social media and Twitter and why my blog is going nowhere. Thank you,Good Samaritan for helping me out with this big stumbling block in my digital learning.
- This whole month I’ve managed to find a suitable time and suitable place and a suitable class at a suitable price(most important) to do YOGA. So finally after many days of trying to stretch at home I’ve been able to get some really valuable unadulterated Yoga time. For this, I’m truly grateful.
- I’m grateful that my grandson pulled out the weighing scale from under the bed and commanded me to “STAND” on it. This simple act jolted me out of my complacency and misplaced belief that Babysitting is equivalent to walking/running or any other strenuous physical activity.
I can’t believe that with the end of this month, we’ve actually come to the end of another financial year. It’s strange how the days go by faster and faster each year. A friend once told me that the closer you are to the end of your life, time is compressed hence it seems that time is going by fast.
Do you think this is the reason why time seems to go faster as you grow older?
I am linking this post to Gratitude Circle and WriteTribe ProBlogger Challenge
Sadly, Write Tribe is having a break and I will miss the lively interaction I’ve had with others of this tribe. Happy Holidays all of you.
