Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

#Day 1 of #3 Day Quote Challenge

While playing Tag as a child, I would always wonder when I would be tagged and would purposely run slow enough so that I’d be tagged earlier in the game – the idea being that it was easier to tag others when you were less tired. Equally it is true that you can tag others faster when they too are tired! But as a child, this reverse logic didn’t come to mind and I prefered being tagged first while my own energy was still intact.

I often wondered what Tag meant in the Blogosphere and wondered if I would ever get tagged. Well, finally today I have been tagged by the bespectacled mom who herself has woken up from a self imposed hiatus.  Thanks for tagging me and I hope I can live up to the 3 Day quote challenge. Before I reveal my quote, let me tell you what the rules of this game of tag are :

  • Post one of your favorite quotes(different quote on each day) on three consecutive days. The quote can be from your favorite book, author, or your own.
  • Nominate three bloggers to challenge them.
  • Thank the blogger, who nominated you.

Here is my quote –

This quote which I just chanced upon very much reflects my own favourite quote by Nike no less – Just Do It.

Somehow, I’ve always felt that actions speak louder than words and even though I’m a better wordsmith than I am a doer, I like to start on with things and get them done. So I like getting up early in the morning and seizing the day with the first rays of the sun. Not only does this give me a head start but there is a peace and calm that makes things easier to do while the rest of the world is still stirring in their beds.

As per the rule, I am nominating 3 bloggers to take up the 3-day Quote Challenge.

I am nominating

1. Priyanka Moraes  of priyankamoraes.wordpress.com whose lovely travel posts take me to places I’ve never even hear of and whose stories of Mumbai takes me back to the times when Mumbai was Bombay.

2. So of MeandMyRun.worpress.com – who has managed to retain her anonymity and maintain a regular exercise schedule that continues to remind me of my extreme laziness.

3. Shlazz of Taleoftwotomatoes.wordpress.com – whose endearingly charming blog posts almost always make me smile.

Finally, thank you Anamika  or the bespectacled mom for tagging me. I do hope I can face the challenge with the time crunch I am currently  facing!

I am also linking this to WriteTribe a place in the Blogosphere where I’ve made the most amazing friends.
