Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Getting things in order

April has been a very busy month blogging wise with the #AtoZChallenge that just got over. While it was a fun exercise, I found it quite stressful to be on top of things . I had done some background work with skeletal posts but the hectic activity at home rendered it a futile exercise – I often found that I had forgotten what I’d formatted in the previous post. Hence my blog posts for this activity lacked consistency. I had a theme which was writing about everyday objects but the angle to each object differed from day to day. Sometimes the object had a back story, sometimes it was informative and sometimes it was chosen for sheer whimsy. But all in all, they reflected a randomness which seemed to be the basis of my life.

It is time to get things in order before they spin out of control.

So, the very first thing I did was to consolidate all my blogs into one. Hence I will sadly have to bid farewell to foodities and nappytales and blog about these topics dear to my heart in this one all encompassing blog. For years my faithful audience which consisted of my two daughters used to complain that they didn’t have time to visit each blog separately. Nor did people have time to read long boring articles on “how to do this” and “why not to do that”.

After much deliberation, we came up with a theme that is

  • simple
  • clean
  • uncluttered
