Disconnected #MondayMusings

For those who’ve been wondering about my absence , let me tell you that I’ve been disconnected from my Virtual World because of computer burn out .

When I jabbed the on/off button of my computer, it remained stubbornly unmoved and repeated jabbings refused to bring it back to life.

Not only did this send me into mourning but also left me disconnected. I do have the option of blogging on my mobile but my wifi connectivity is iffy which makes it quite a frustrating experience especially if you want to add images, links etc.

Of course my trusty computerwallah hop skipped it to my place but the incessant rains in Mumbai has hampered regular movements ….. You know the story don’t you?

So that explains my enforced silence this week .

  1. I was wondering about your absence since in the past few weeks you were actively blogging. I am glad that after all the breakdowns you still managed to link up with Monday Musings. It is raining here in Bangalore too. It has got chilly here and I love the rains in this city. In Delhi, when it used to rain, it meant the worse kind heat after the rain stopped and incessant sweating. I have no idea how is it in Mumbai after the rains stop.

    1. During the rains it can vary from a light drizzle that kisses your cheeks with a soft breeze or a damp and wet cloud that descends on you with its greyness. After the rains you have muddy puddles and streams of sewage running down the streets not to mention the pressure cooker humidity and heat. So it’s no fun really in Mumbai in the rains unless you stay home and drink loads of chai and munch Bhajias and read a book with music in the background

    1. I hope my PC comes back and I can be more regular. I miss meeting my friends too . It’s hard keeping up with an iffy wifi connection and a mobile that has a touch screen !
