Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Personally speaking

Cacophony #FridayReflections

Early in the morning parrots screech outside my window.

While some might find it blissful I find it’s cacophony
In the middle of the morning cars honk outside the main road passing by the school that’s in the neighbourhood
Buses lumber up the hilly road and cause a jam, cars rev up and brakes screech
That’s cacophony
In the middle of the afternoon when I want to rest , school is out
And that’s cacophony.
After five when cars rush home
That’s cacophony
And in the middle of the night when all is quiet still
Whizzing motorbikes and racing cars with engines raised at crazy speeds
That’s cacophony too!

People feel that staying  in a high-rise would assure you  heavenly peace. Sadly, the higher you go the louder the noise and at times it’s really cacophony!

Sharing my thoughts on #FridayReflections hosted by Sanch and Corinne.

Have a great weekend !

  1. Interesting observation that the “higher you go, the louder the noise.” I believe it, though. If you fly in a hot air balloon, it’s amazing just how clearly you can hear conversations from the ground, below. Sound travels freely upward.
