Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Personally speaking

Weatherbeaten #ThursdayTreeLove

When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.

African proverb

During my travels in America, I saw this beautiful tree in a peaceful garden estate of the famed American architect and woodworker George Nakashima who is closely associated with the Golconde project at Auroville.

Linking this with Parul’s initiative #ThursdayTreeLove where bloggers share their tree pictures every other Thursday.

Have a good weekend

    1. Thanks ? for appreciating. There was such a calm in that garden that this tree somehow called out to me

  2. I love the way the tree trunks have almost intertwined with each other. I wonder if its one or more trees growing together?? What a great thought to go with this…

    1. if I remember right it was only one tree. And yes the proverb I thought was apt because often strong winds uproot trees as I’ve seen in our recent monsoon.
