Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

Kite Waiting #WordlessWednesday

As day was breaking,

I stood outside in my balcony

Waiting for the milk to boil.

I suddenly spied this kite waiting

Who turned his head and stared at me.

He looked me up and looked me down

and turned away and stared ahead.

Then before I knew,

He clapped his wings and

Quickly flew .

Linking up with Esha’s #WordlessWednesday.

These birds of prey, the common kite are actually scavengers and ugly as they are essential to Mumbai’s #SwacchBharat campaign ( in a manner of speaking).

    1. It’s not a pigeon! It’s a common kite

  2. Lucky you snapped it up! I have seen a couple but they just fly off while I just fumble! Hope you get this comment of mine!

    1. Yes Dahlia I did get this comment and while I am on the same device ( my lap top I thought I’d acknowledge it. Indeed I was lucky. I couldn’t get the bird flying in motion. That would have been spectacular. Getting the bird in focus, getting your specs on and clicking the right ‘button’ is quite a task.

  3. How interesting that you spent those moments together. And captured them in both image and poem. :-)
