Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

Even in winter #ThursdayTreeLove

I happened to witness the severe snow storm that just hit the East coast of the US. It truly was a experience of a lifetime – watching the snow fall prettily earthwards.

The day after , I was standing by the window when I noticed this tree, bare and desolate in the white snow covered walkway.

The chirruping of birds drew my attention to the small berries that they were feeding on.

Even in winter , this tree continues to provide nourishment to the red breasted robins who feed on them all year round .

As I stepped out to photograph the birds, they all flew away save one who posed quietly for me .
