“What’s that ? ” I asked Mrs D whom we visited this Tuesday.

“It’s to keep away the flies,” was the explanation she offered for the water filled plastic bags that decorated her balcony.

I was gobsmacked hearing this explanation for what I thought was a new artistic installation in her home.

Aren’t you amazed too ?

Apparently it does work as there wasn’t a single fly in her house !
