Mushrooms in the garden #WordlessWednesday

These mushrooms growing under the Canna in the flower bed by the garden wall look strangely determined .

Don’t you think so?

Linking up with Esha and Natasha on #WordlessWednesday.

  1. It’s amazing how they find a nice spot and start growing. Wild mushrooms are like that. I remember seeing these in varying sizes as kids when we roamed around the forest area behind our homes in the hills of the NE where I grew up. Your captures are so lovely, Sunita. Thanks for joining us for #ww this week. Happy Wednesday and a great rest of the week to you.

And yes, they indeed are determined little soldiers, springing up sometimes in the most unexpected places…

  3. Mushrooms are always surprises when they spring up I’ve seen them in the most unlikely places. Perhaps yours are guardian mushrooms for your garden, guarding against slugs!

  4. Because mushrooms grow where ever they want, I have always been slightly scared of them :|
Your picture though is very natural and takes me back home.

  5. Wow, just the kind of shot I have been meaning to take recently. In the garden around our condo there is an area with a huge mound of soil and fertilisers where a huge number of these giant mushrooms are growing rampantly. I’ve been meaning to take a shot, but have forgotten my camera each time I have taken the dogs for a walk. Tomorrow definitely and will share with you.

Mushrooms have a certain fairy tale like feel to them, as though elves and pixies prance and play around them.

Your shots are all so lovely Sunita. Thank you for linking up with us on #WW. <3

    1. Looking forward to your photo. I shoot with my phone these days. It’s too much of a hassle to carry a camera
