Well, with this post it is curtains for my maiden venture : #FlavoursomeTuesdays. This proved to be a flop of a bloghop from the word go.

One of my goals this year was to set up a Linky Party. And one of the learnings of this year has been that some things are not meant to be. #FlavoursomeTuesday was one of them.

Why did I want to host a  Linky Party?

Simply because I had seen so many bloggers hosting blog hops that I thought I’d give it a try.

After all, food is a popular topic with bloggers considering the number of food bloggers and self avowed foodies in the world. So I thought a blog hop that invited people to post their food memories either as anecdotes or photographs would find enough takers.

But obviously,  I was wrong. It was harder than it looked. To begin with, working with inLinkz wasn’t as easy as it was made out to be. At each party, I would forget the steps involved to make the link up work. The result was often a broken link.

And worse still, after the initial response which was quite encouraging, the audience dwindled to just one. Thanks Vasantha for your solitary support in this venture.

I’m taking a break from this flop show and will work out something better ( if possible, next year)
