Great Balls of Sweetness #WordlessWednesday

Walking down a Girgaon street during Ganesha festival which got over last week, I came across these huge big boondi laddoos suspended from a street shop ceiling .

It was the most amazing sight I’d ever seen and somehow reminded me of Jerry Lewis’ ‘Great Balls of Fire ‘.

Leaving you with memories of this song brought on by these Great Balls of Sweetness.

Sharing this with Esha and Natasha on #WordlessWednesday.

  1. It’s interesting how such a very Indian thing reminded you of this song :-). Our minds work in peculiar ways. What are those ridged things?

    1. Those ridged things are boondi modaks . They look pretty revolting to me . And our minds do work in strange ways . Ganpati would have freaked hearing this song I’m sure !

  2. I love the way the balls of sweetness are suspended from the ceiling. Interesting how something so simple drew you to a song from memory.

Thanks for this unique link-up Sunita, for #WordlessWednesday
