• Mid week I experienced my first ever snow storm. Luckily from where I sat, the snow looked harmless as it came down gently. But as the snow ploughs trundled down the streets, I realised that it wasn’t as innocuous as it seemed . There were heaps of snow collected on the pavements.

So I was happy to see a peep of clear sky the next day

    Soon the light spread

Till finally the sun came up and I saw the blue sky once more.

  • I happened to witness the severe snow storm that just hit the East coast of the US. It truly was a experience of a lifetime – watching the snow fall prettily earthwards.

The day after , I was standing by the window when I noticed this tree, bare and desolate in the white snow covered walkway.

The chirruping of birds drew my attention to the small berries that they were feeding on.

Even in winter , this tree continues to provide nourishment to the red breasted robins who feed on them all year round .

As I stepped out to photograph the birds, they all flew away save one who posed quietly for me .
