• Even though it was Saturday when I flew into Cleveland and Tuesday when I flew out, I was fortunate enough to capture some beautiful sky.

The first day the sky was overcast but the bright pumpkins outside brightened up the grey.

I did manage a photo of a tree with yellow leaves.

And all over I could see the brilliant foliage that had changed so dramatically almost overnight .

I couldnt resist capturing this sunrise from a picture frame window that framed each scene so perfectly.

And finally it was goodbye to a Cleveland sky that was just turning pink in the morning sun.

Shared memories of two childhood friends

I had gone to Cleveland to visit with a childhood friend and I not only shared her coat but all the memories we had amassed over the years. With all the pounds that we’d put on, the grey hairs that we’d acquired and the new events in our lives, we had a lot to catch up with!

We did what old  friends always do – gossip, relax and chill. Both  of us are on the wrong side of fifty.  Yet it was amazing how we could not only recollect  but also sing some of the songs from our childhood. And no they weren’t “Old Macdonald” and other songs from the nursery but genuine  45 RPM vinyl Rock & Roll of the 60s that’s used to blare out on our parents’ turntables.

After a wonderful weekend break, it’s now back to Raritan for a Diwali sky dawning to another autumnal celebration.

Happy Diwali to all and may the coming year be full of peace, health and happiness.

  • I’m in a total mess

To all those who know me and to all those who don’t : This is a call out for HELP.

Image for I'm in a mess

This time I’m in a mess and don’t know what to do.

Typically I jump in the water before I learn how to swim. And anyone who’s done this will tell you how easy it is to flounder and ultimately drown.

Now I’m really floundering and I don’t want to drown.

    So what is the mess?

After so many rants you must have figured that it’s all about my blog.

I wont bore you with the details which you must have read about , here, here and here. In fact, I had started the Ultimate Blog Challenge with the theme of sharing my blogging journey and warning newbies of the pitfalls they might face. Alas , the pressure of writing everyday forced me to give up.

[Tweet “I will not blog under pressure”].

    But I will blog.

    So?

The problem is that I can’t sign in to my WordPress account simply because I can’t remember the password. With a hundred passwords to remember ( for my own safety) all coined at different times and for different reasons, I’ve simply forgotten when I made the account and what was the original password.

Now when WP sends me a verification code to. Phone number that’s temporarily not in use, how do I get back into my WP account ?

    Problem no 2

Each of my three blogs has a different password. Equally , none of the passwords match the WP password.

So after trying al kinds of names , numbers and combinations I’ve just given up.

    ONE OTP

Why do I want to access WP?

Simply because I want to clean up the mess.

I want to establish ONE brand identity.

I want to make a website consilidating all my blogs and all my identities.

I want to be able to access all my SocialMedia accounts, all my apps and all my blogs with just ONE passwords

    I just want ONE OTP!

Any ideas on how to do it ?

  • Why would you really want to know things about me ?

After all I’m not famous nor will I ever be

I am not witty nor particularly pretty

    I love sunny days

    And hot soup in winter

Chic flicks bring cheer on a dull, dreary day.

Flowers make me happy and full me with joy

The smell of fresh earth when rain falls from the sky.

I want to explore the world and wanted to be a spy

I hate getting my feet wet but love walking in puddles.

Reading books all night long , singing songs in the shower, meeting up with friends and cooking a storm.

Warm cuddly dogs and soft smelling babies

Perfumes and lotions are my favourites too.

Shopping for food , shopping for fashion shopping for shopping’s sake is also my passion .

I dream of playing tennis, yoga and walks but hate wearing sports gear and changing my shoes, and sweating and showering and getting out of breath.

I love learning new things and doing exams!

Well that’s 21 random facts about me .
