My early morning pale blue sky
With wispy clouds floating by
A hint of pink
pale golden light
Tender and warm luminosity.
Wisps of smoke
and dark grey cloud
Disturb this calm tranquility.
The ugly crane
atop the pile
of bricks and concrete and steel piles
insidiously climbing high
to block the sunlight from my life
But till such time my world gets dark
Let me enjoy the glorious light!
Alas! My early morning sky soon seems to be getting gobbled up by the cranes climbing higher to reach the sky.
But till the light is crowded out by tall buildings and ugly monstrosities, let me enjoy my Mumbai sky.
