You only learn when you really learn

Now what does this really mean?

In plain and simple terms it means that you only learn from your mistakes.

I have been blogging for quite a while now – 7 years now and it seems by far to be my most consistent activity apart from eating and sleeping which we all just have to do as humans!

The only reason why I have persisted with this is largely because it has been a journey of learning. First it was how to operate the computer. Then it was how to use the different programs. And  finally it was getting hooked on to the net.

Getting hooked on to the net was the easy part – what was difficult was adapting to the new changes which happen almost immediately the minute you master something. So essentially you are on a treadmill of learning from which you never really get off! Always you learn something especially from your mistakes . It is the realisation of one’s mistake that teaches you the lesson.

And the best part of this challenge is learning on my own. This kind of learning is so different from traditional learning in classes and through a teaching program that I look forward to pushing my mind every day. Today’s discovery, for instance, was that the Write Tribe September Challenge has a weekly link to which you are supposed to link to.

Linking was something I never understood till today. I figured now that every week there is a different link to which we are supposed to upload our posts………That’s why I found that I couldn’t upload this post to last week’s link.

So this now will be my first post on this link but the second in the week and the 9th post I’ve blogged this month!
