Day Fifteen: Your Voice Will Find You
Today’s Prompt: Think about an event you’ve attended and loved. Your hometown’s annual fair. That life-changing music festival. A conference that shifted your worldview. Imagine you’re told it will be cancelled forever or taken over by an evil corporate force.
How does that make you feel?

Today’s prompt is really difficult.
At the ripe old age of 50+, there are several events that I’ve attended all through these years – events that have impacted my life, events that have made me re-think several of my thoughts. Yet, I doubt there is any one event that, if “stopped or cancelled forever or taken over by an evil corporate force” will affect me in any way.
Life is a series of changes, changing every moment of the day because once the moment has passed, it won’t come back again. With the philosophy that the only constant thing in life is change, I am hardly affected by things changing. I personally feel that over attachment to an event or person is over-hyped in itself.
So does that mean that I am unaffected by events? I did enjoy them all while in the moment and if they are cancelled forever, am certain that there will be others that will be equally enjoyable to take their place!
