I look out of the window
And watch the snow fall down
As outstretched arms of trees
Reach out to grasp the flakes
Before they touch the ground
And turn into a muddy puddle.

Personally speaking
I look out of the window
And watch the snow fall down
As outstretched arms of trees
Reach out to grasp the flakes
Before they touch the ground
And turn into a muddy puddle.

We are so tired of the white stuff here in upstate New York. And we didn’t even get blasted by those nor’easters the way people further east did.

Yes I can imagine how fed up you must be ! I’m hoping it warms up a bit before I get home to my hot hot temperatures

What core strength drives these bare trees to withstand the sub zero temperatures and stay put like a brave soldier, I wonder! Wish I could learn a thing or two from them.

I want to see snow too. I have never seen it in real life. Must be very cold out there. Love the imagery of outstretched arms of trees.

I thought there is snow in your part of the world ( New Zealand is close by isn’t it ? ) perhaps that should be your next holiday destination. Away from the sunny beaches. Knowing you, you’d make it a cross country trek ! And it is really very cold even when the sun is shining as it is today

Love the idea of the tree’s outstretched arms wanting to catch the pretty snowflakes :)
