Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

A lady in waiting

It’s been a long time since I’ve been a lady in waiting .

Or has it been forever that I’ve been a lady in waiting ?

I’ve always been waiting for

The bus to come

The weight to drop

The rain to fall

The phone to ring

I’ve always been waiting

To finish the book

To start the exercise program

To find a parking

I’ve always been waiting

For the traffic to move

For the cake to bake

For the bell to ring

For the children to come home

For night fall so that I can close my eyes and wait for the new day to dawn .

Sharing these thoughts while waiting for the Little Ones to finish their class .

What are you waiting for ? And how do you spend your time waiting ?

Ciao

  1. Perhaps it’s time you turned the tables on everyone and kept them waiting!

  2. Hahah….I have to agree that we, all of us, wait a lot and for a lot of things. If you ask me I am patient to wait, but at the same time, I do not like waiting or making anyone wait for me.
What I do when I am waiting? Of course, I read children’s books in the meantime. I carry hordes of them in my backpack wherever I go. Often I think what the other people present on the premises might be thinking of me sitting and reading a picture book all alone.

    1. Why do you care what other people think? You’ll be surprised how many people actually observe what’s going on around them

  3. Oh this is such a sweet one and it has a little bit of all of us – aren’t all of us perpetually waiting for something or the other?
