Trapped ! #WordlessWednesday

Image for trapped rat

I was walking past the badminton court when I heard a scuffling sound .

I looked around and found

this rat.

As he struggled to get out , he looked at me

Stared hard and went back to being puzzled

How is it he wondered that I found myself thus bound ?

Rats are a public menace and no matter how cute Mickey was or how smart Ratatouille, I don’t like them one bit and am glad to see them trapped like this one rather than have him scamper over my feet or jump into my soup.

Today is St. Francis ‘ birthday and I’m sure this saint who loved all animals would have loved this little rat too .

But do you think he’d have liked him running through his cassock or rifling through his cheese ?

Ciao (or should I say Miaow?)

  1. As a former resident of New York City, I’ve seen too many rats in my life. They can be frightening.

  2. I’m scared of anything beyond the size of a cockroach. I have had 3 rat encounters till now and each one has shaken me up. Infact I wrote a post on my rat tales. Loved the quirky sense of humor.

  3. Even I’m scared of rats, just hate them. Have seen two enter home through the kitchen window and what followed was chaos as the entire family along with the rat was running.
