on Wednesday evening the kids were really excited to see a pink sun in the sky. Little did they realise it was not mist or fog but SMOG!
On Thursday though, the sun did shine through before it made that final descent into the sea.
Doesn’t this sky look great? Wisps of cloud and burst of sun?

I can remember when smog was a common occurrence where I grew up (New York City) – thankful for the laws that control it now. It’s wonderful seeing a true sunset after something like that.
