Twenty- five Seven

Personally speaking

Zip lipped

The noise levels at home can sometimes become deafening. Despite our living so high up ( or probably because of it) we are subject to noises from the crack of dawn.

Right from the parrots screeching to ambulances wailing to workmen hammering away. We hardly get a moment’s peace and quiet.  And sometimes in the afternoon, especially when the three Little Ones are extra chirpy and you’ve had a heavy meal, you could do with some peace and quiet.

Z is for Zipped Lips (1)

One afternoon I wanted to watch a potboiler playing on TV  and requested the twiblings to keep quiet so that I could listen to the dialogues without putting the volume on super loud.

After half an hour of deathly silence, I got a fright. They were far too quiet. What happened to the kids? They couldn’t be so silent for so long.

I went outside my bedroom and found them playing at their favourite game in pin-drop silence. They had taped their mouth with a sticker of a hero sandwich!

I was horrified and asked them what they were up to

“Nothing,” came their muffled answer. “You told us to ZIP our lips!

Thank God they didn’t take me literally and sew zips on their mouths!

With this, I’ve come to the last of my stories about my Little Ones. I do hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed recounting them.

Ciao

Oh God! Should I call it cute or shit scary that they used stickers and not something else.
Sunita, these snippets from the little people’s world stole my heart. The posts were aptly short and had a cute, adorableness quotient to it which made it a hit for me.
Readers would be delighted to have more of them as and when they happen. Please, do continue this series Sunita…a genuine request to you!
Heartiest congratulations on the successful completion of the challenge.

    1. Thanks Anagha ! I might just take you seriously and have a weekly post . But I didn’t find too many visitors to the blog . I mean my regular visitors kept away and only those I followed in this challenge followed me back.
