• It’s time for the last #SkywatchFriday post of 2018.

I’ve had some wonderful sunsets, sunrises and moonlit skies this year .

Sharing with you some skies from this week .

This pink golden sunrise welcomed Mumbai on Thursday morning.

On Wednesday morning Mumbai woke up to this popcorn cloud sky.

I was driving down from Pune when I captured this sunset over the highway.

And this blue sky with happy hang gliders had me scrambling to capture this image before the car zoomed down the expressway.

Thanks to Alan Bates and all the hosts of #SkywatchFriday for hosting this bloghop week after week!

Finally, leaving you with this stunning photo of a full moon bidding goodbye. As it came down the Western horizon, it cast a beacon of light that danced on the sea.

Happy New Year to all fellow skywatchers .

    Ciao

  • It’s the last post of the year and I was glad to see some creatures with their feet up.

Thanks Parul for this initiative. In order to make it to your post I land up seeing things I’d never really seen like this tree. I must have gone down this road at least a hundred times in my life but never really noticed the bats hanging upside down before !

How many trees have you passed by without really noticing them ?

    Sharing this on Parul’s bi-monthly initiative #ThursdayTreeLove

  • I was driving home from Pune when I saw these hang gliders floating up in the sky.

I did a double take when I saw them . Were they birds ? Or were they men?

Obviously they were hang gliders who were having fun.

For those who are interested, these people were jumping off a cliff at Kamshet .

This is one sport I would never try!

Thanks Esha and Natasha for hosting #WordlessWednesday week after week.

Happy New Year to you both and see you all next year!

    Ciao
