Welcome to my world.

My blog is one place where I can be myself without worrying about my voice being too loud, my laugh too raucous or my ideas too weird.

Personally speaking

June and Monkey Business

It’s been quite a while since I visited this page , this place that I call my private space for public viewing . Strange isn’t it ? I want a space where I can express myself ( not my innermost thoughts ) but my thoughts that I share with people who are strangers.

What is it with bloggers and writers ? Do they want others to know their thoughts? Then why don’t they share them with people they know ? Friends . Relatives. Neighbours . Family. People who ought to be,or rather those we would like to think should be, interested in what they have to say.

I mean, this morning three monkeys walked into my balcony looking for something to eat.

Was it the crow who was nibbling at the mango kept on the window sill day before yesterday, who informed them that our home was the place to go to for a mango delight .

One of the monkeys who made it up

Why else would the monkeys climb up the scaffolding and make their way to the case of mangoes ripening in our front balcony ?

Can the smell of raw mango go all the way down ?

We quickly shooed them off before they could get more than the one mango and pulled the case in and tightly shut all doors and windows. For a while we didn’t even answer the door bell lest it was another monkey who had found a way in!

Well, who would be interested in this story ? My friends? My family?

So why not tell them rather than write about it on my blog ?

Well, I’d like to share this story with all who’d listen .

That’s why I write this blog .

Hope this Monkey Business dies down soon .

Last week our building was absorbed with the Mystery of the Poop. But that’s a story for the next blog post

Ciao
