Skies from New Jersey #SkywatchFriday

And yet another Friday! I can hardly believe it’s time for me to return home to my Mumbai skies.

I had come prepared for a hot summer but sadly the skies have been quite erratic – from a gloomy and overcast sky one moment to bright and sunny the next!

Here’s a gloomy sky over New York City as seen from the Jersey side. You can just about see a hint of blue at 10.30 am. The cloud cover didn’t lift , however, and it was a dry, grey day.

There were a few odd days of sunshine during the week like this rare sunny one from last week.

But as you can see, the clouds haven’t gone yet and it will be a long time before the barbecues are fired up .

Join me and other bloggers from around the world on #SkywatchFriday.

Hope the sun shines on your weekend !

While grey skies may make for a dreary image in themselves, they do provide almost perfect lighting for outdoor photography. Nicely captured.
