While shopping at Bhuleshwar during Diwali week I came across this tree that actually doubled up as a temple. Strangely enough this tree was inside the temple compound of Madhav Baug.
For those who may be interested Madhav Baug is in the CP Tank area and is quite unlike any part of Mumbai. With a temple ( and sometimes two! ) on every street, you can find almost all the Gods of India residing here .
And talking of residing and residences, I’m told that Dhirubhai Ambani first lived in the Madhav Baug /CP Tank area when he came to BOMBAY to seek his fortune. Apparently ,the Ambanis still keep that lucky flat.
I must check this out one day.
