Christmas Tree #ThursdayTreeLove

Christmas is over but the trees are still up. I love visiting hotels at this time of the year to see them beautifully decorated .

This tree standing majestically in the Taj Mahal Intercontinental Lobby captures the magic of Christmas.

The lobby however always reminds me of the horrific terror attack on my beloved city on November 26, nine years ago.

In the courtyard you can see the memorial to those fallen in this ghastly incident.

    That’s so lovely! Pune too has a festive atmosphere at all shopping centres…
    This is also a grim reminder of things we need to be wary and watch out for.

    I love spending time looking at the Christmas trees. It’s something I fancy now , more than I did as a child. Back then, I really don’t remember seeing them, or being so in awe of them.
